First SPCA dog show overwhelming success

Organizers were delighted with the turn out for the first SPCA dog show at the Mariners Centre Saturday afternoon.

The show, a fun themed event, was combined with the annual Dog Jog. Eighty-five registered for the competition, which included prizes for Waggiest Tail, Best Purebred, Best Dog & Owner look-a-like and many other categories.

    It was good to see such a great turnout for the dog jog and dog show,well put together by the spca,and many volunteers ,carl and I was so proud of shinook for winning second place for best purebred, It was good to see all the owners walk so proudly with their puppiesdogs.can't wait for next year.Penny Boudreau.
