The play is directed by Randy Muise and features him in the role of Dracula, and Julie Macdonald as Lucy Seward.
Lucy, the daughter of the physician in charge of a sanatorium near London, is mysteriously anaemic.
Doctor Van Helsing, a specialist in obscure diseases, suspects a vampire which, according to legend, is an ugly soul that, grave-bound by day, roams the earth by night, and sustains its earthy life by sucking the blood of approachable victims.
Instituting a search, Van Helsing hopes to uncover the identity of the fiend behind Lucy’s condition, much to the skepticism of her father and fiancé.
Meanwhile a mysterious “woman in white” terrorizes London’s children, the lunatic Renfield continuously escapes the confinement of his room, and Lucy’s spirits rise with visits from her new neighbour, the Transylvanian Count, Dracula.
Dracula runs Feb.19, 20, 25, 26, 27, at 8 p.m. and Feb. 21, for a 2 p.m. matinee. Tickets are $15, $14 for members, and $12 for youth.
