By Carla Allen THE VANGUARD NovaNewsNow.com An important fundraiser for the Yarmouth Arts Society on Nov. 21 guarantees that all who purchase a $30 ticket take home an item from the Lucky Choice evening.

The society partners with the Yarmouth Craft Guild for the event and this year is excited to add another group – the new Yarmouth Photography Club. “It’s going to be a bigger show than ever,” said Yarmouth Arts Society member Virginia Stoddard.

There are approximately 50 members in the society and she says there are usually at least half a dozen who contribute to Lucky Choice in addition to members from the photography club and craft guild. “This year we will have quality crafts and photographs as well as prints, etchings, watercolours and more. We’re hoping to have at least 100 pieces,” she said.

Each ticket is numbered and as each is drawn, the owner is permitted to select whatever artwork they wish. “It’s a great way of picking up some great Christmas presents. They are all original works and for $30 it’s a bargain,” said Stoddard.

Tickets are available at Th’YARC box office, 902-742-8150. The event starts at 7 p.m. but doors open at 6.
