The event is held to recognize the hard work and great talent of the many actors and actresses that grace the stage each year. It is also held to thank them for the hundreds of hours they dedicate to the support and success of Th’YARC.
The A.C.T. Awards were established in 2005 to show appreciation and emulate the Tony Awards.
Throughout the year audience members are asked to vote for their favourite at the end of each performance. The results are held in secret and the winners are announced during the awards.
The evening consists of award presentation celebrations and entertainment, followed by a reception.
Tickets are $10 each (seats are limited). Dress is formal to semi-formal: no jeans, shorts, etc. Ties are required.
