During the nine-day festival, Acadian traditional cultures are celebrated through music, food and dance. Today there will be music, competitions (for adults and youth: fishing, tug-o'-war, crate runs, cardboard boat building and racing etc), and food served at the Dennis Point Wharf from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mass (under a tent) will be held with Father Maurice LeBlanc in Amirault's Hill at 3 p.m. A turkey supper will be held at the Twin Village Social Club from 4 to 6:30 p.m. followed by music night with Francis and Cheryl.
A dance with the Grinders at the Club Acadien in Sainte Anne-du-Ruisseau is scheduled for 9 p.m.
