Wintersleep will headline an all-ages show with a 19+ licensed area on Nov. 6 at the Rodd Grand Hotel Convention Centre for Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week 2010.
The Juno-winning quintet hasn’t played in Yarmouth — hometown of guitarist Tim D’Eon and front man Paul Murphy — in four years but they are taking time out of their tours of Canada, the U.S. and Europe to get in touch with the hometown fans. The band just released its fourth album, New Inheritors.
Tickets will go on sale for $19.99 (plus convenience fee) through www.ticketpro.ca on Friday, July 23. You can also call 1-888-311-9090 or buy them in person at any Ticketpro outlet, http://ww3.ticketpro.ca/pos.php, including City Drug Store and the Saulnierville Pharmacy.
