It is a place long associated with rustic beauty and incomparable serenity. Now, 100 years after it began, the owner of Birchdale Lake is inviting those who have past connections to the property, and others interested in learning about its history, to attend an open house from Monday, Aug. 22 to Sunday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m.
