Parade of Lights delights crowds

The evening could not possibly have been better for the 2010 Parade of Lights. Harbour waters were flat calm and a bright moon shone down on hundreds of spectators lining the docks as a flotilla of colourfully decorated vessels motored slowly by.

Many of the boats shot off multiple fireworks - much to the crowd's delight. The parade was the final event for the 2010 Seafest celebration.

Winners of the competition are:

People's Choice: Richard and June White-Noah's Ark

1st place commercial    Richard and June White--Noah's Ark

2nd place commercial    Kevin and Betty Ann Penney-Fun Fair

3rd place commercial    Roland Nickerson-Send in the Clowns  

1st place pleasure    Nick White--Theodore Tugboat

2nd place pleasure    Peter Hilton--Royal Blue Rodeo

    Hats off to everyone who participated in the Parade of Lights on Saturday evening. It was absolutely a sight to behold. The reflections on the water made your entries even more spectactular. Bravo! Bravo!Bravo! WELL DONE!!!!!
