Safety concerns regarding Highway 103 surfaced again during the latest regular monthly meeting of Argyle municipal council. They came in the form of a petition calling for action to make Exit 32 safer.

Topics :
Drumlin Heights Consolidated School , Nakile Home for Special Care , Nova Scotia

Dianne Crowell, who presented the petition, said many people can speak of the danger at Exit 32, whether from accidents or close calls. “It’s just not safe,” said Crowell. “It’s one of the most dangerous intersections that I’ve come across in Nova Scotia.”

Exit 32 is Highway 103’s Argyle-area exit.

The intersection is close to Drumlin Heights Consolidated School and near the turnoff to Nakile Home for Special Care.

The petition was to be forwarded to the transportation minister.
