First time director Wilfred Allan says that when the show first began it broke a number of theatre conventions of the day.
“There is a bare stage, an actor talking directly to the audience, miming of actions, three members of the audience asking questions of the stage manager, and the play itself being referred to in the opening lines and later in the script,” he said.
The show plays Aug. 12, 13, 14, and 19, 20, and 21. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for the public, $14 for members and $10 for students.
