Heavy metal riffs rocked the building below as bluegrass, rock and hip hop filled the lounge above.
Thursday was the first night of the four-day event. Tonight, music lovers can catch the Gordie Sampson Songcamp Circle and Unleash the Icon Student Art Challenge and Display at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Yarmouth branch, and a full complement of performers at the Rodd Grand Convention Centre, Haley's Lounge, Dooly's, Rudder's Seafood Restaurant and Brew Pub, the Thirsty Fisherman Pub at the Rodd Colony, and Th'YARC.
