The tent in the Collins Street parking lot rocked with tunes, stomping feet and scurrying children last night as the week long Multicultural Festival presented its weekend line up.

Last night was "Kid's Night" with performing youth acts that included KIDZACT, the Yarmouth Power Cheer, Dixacadie, the Acadian band Accord and Atlantic Cirque, complete with contortionists and a person walking on stilts. An international dog show saw children crowding around the canines afterwards to pet them.

Festivities continue this afternoon, from 2 to 5 p.m. with the international and local beer, wine and spirits fair. There will be entertainment and food samples. Entrance is $5 and sampling tickets are $1.

Tomorrow, the popular international food fair takes place from noon to 3 p.m
