The students are studying under the Nova Scotia International Students Program. Some will call Yarmouth home for a couple of years. Others were preparing to bid farewell to their new friends, returning home after a three-month stay.
The international students program has been operating in the province for nearly 15 years. From its modest beginnings the program had grown to accommodate 800 students across the province by last year.
