On Feb. 13, Sandra Fitzgerald will be presenting “various tidbits of Arcadia's past.”
“I'm focusing mainly on the community aspect and will be comparing it from then to now,” said Fitzgerald, who is writing a book about Arcadia history.
This year marks the 150th year of the community being called Arcadia.
Fitzgerald and her husband, Larry, the vice-principal at Arcadia School, reside in Arcadia where their children were raised, as well as four of their grandchildren.
Other sessions coming up: On Feb. 20, Peter Eldridge will be speaking about Camp Mooswa.
On Feb. 27, the topic is the early art scene of Yarmouth County, with Virginia Stoddard, David Sollows, Wilfred Allan, and several others.
