On Feb. 20, Peter Eldridge is presenting a talk on Camp Mooswa.
The camp lodge was originally a small hotel in Lake Annis. It was purchased by George Cain and operated as a camp by the family for the first 50 years of the 20th century. The campers came primarily from the United States and New Brunswick.
“The camp itself was a marvelous classic boys camp,” said Eldridge.
The final presentation of the series will take place on Feb. 27, with Virginia Stoddard, David Sollows, Wilfred Allan, and several others speaking about the early art scene of Yarmouth County.
