The church’s auditorium will be transformed into a dessert theatre setting, with decorated tables and a variety of desserts to choose from (including cheesecake, carrot cake, chocolate cake, and apple pie.) The theme of the show is Give Hope Away. The evening will begin with Christmas musical entertainment featuring local talent.

Pastor Mark Cooney says the evening concludes with a drama presentation to drive home the message  that Jesus came to earth to give mankind hope and that the hope of Jesus can shine through our lives.

“We are very excited about this venture. It seems that food and a good story tend to bring people together. We are anticipating a great opportunity to touch people's lives through this,” he said.

Four performances are scheduled: Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church, 70 Haley Rd., or by calling 902-742-7323.
