Grand opening

The Yarmouth Area Cancer Support Group will attend the grand opening of the South West Health Cancer Centre to be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, 4th Floor, Building C. The group will gather following the opening in the meeting room of the centre. All those with cancer and their caregivers/loved ones are invited to attend. There will be a yard sale on the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives’ grounds, 22 Collins St., on July 18 (9 a.m. – no early birds.) One year’s worth of donated items from homes, businesses and stores. Antiques, plants, homebaked goods, jewellery, books and CDs, and more. Proceeds to the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives.

The annual Seafest ecumenical service will be held on the grounds of Villa St Joseph-du-Lac on July 19 at 7 p.m. Refreshments to follow. Free-will offering.
