Arrangements are being made for a full military funeral to be held in Yarmouth next week for Sgt. Kirk Taylor, the Yarmouth soldier who was one of four soldiers killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on Dec. 30.

Although the date, time and location have yet to be officially confirmed, the Vanguard has been told the service will be held at the Mariners Centre. A military spokesperson told the Vanguard on Thursday morning that arrangements were still being worked out with Sgt. Taylor’s family.

The 28-year-old was a member of the 84th Independent Field Battery.

When specifics about the service have been released, the Vanguard will share those details on NovaNewsNow.com.
