The Municipality of Argyle officially welcomed its new and returning council members during a Tuesday afternoon swearing-in ceremony at the municipal office building in Tusket.
Aldric d’Entremont (the District 8 councillor) remains the municipality’s warden. His was the only name put forward by councillors to fill the position, which he has held for over a decade.
Council chose Calvin d’Entremont (councillor for District 9) as the new deputy warden.
There are some new faces around the Argyle council table.
Danny Muise is the new councillor for District 1.
Lucien LeBlanc is the new councillor in District 3.
Nicole Albright was sworn in as the new council member for District 5.
The rest of the council consists of Roderick (Junior) Murphy in District 2, Guy Surette in District 4, Richard Donaldson (the previous deputy warden) in District 6 and Kathy Bourque in District 7.
Spectators filled the council chambers for the Nov. 13 swearing-in ceremony.
