Environment Canada has issued severe weather bulletins for New Brunswick and Nova Scotia

Topics :
Environment Canada , Yarmouth County , Southwestern Nova Scotia

Yarmouth County could receive 40 to 70 millimetres rainfall by Tuesday morning.

Residents are requested to monitor weather conditions for updated statements.

The low pressure system approaching the region will bring significant rainfall to parts of Southwestern Nova Scotia. Rain at times heavy will persist this afternoon and tonight then taper to showers Tuesday morning.

Those living in areas prone to flooding should take necessary precautions to keep safe. This includes pets. Keep emergency readiness kits close and up to date.
