The weather did little to deter these hardy souls.

With temperatures hovering a few degrees above zero and northwest winds gusting to 55 km/hr, polar bear dippers flung off their towels, blankets and jackets and raced into Lake Milo.


Some screamed. It was all over in under two minutes. The fundraiser is held annually by the Yarmouth Polar Bear Club to benefit the Yarmouth Fire Department.

    Brrrrrr!!! These guys are troopers for going out in the bitter cold like that, hhahaha the guy with the GoPro I recognize from the plumbing company I use inCalgary, nice to see him having some fun.
