Four face drug charges after search of Arcadia residence

The Yarmouth/Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit and the RCMP Southwest Nova Federal Drug Section have charged three males and one female with drug-related offences in Arcadia.

On July 13 the police conducted a search of a residence on Jacquard Corner in Arcadia. The RCMP say they seized 124 marihuana plants and 445 grams of marijuana, along with money and a scale. 

Cory Higby, 38, Dana Phillips, 44, Jeff Morton, 28, and Aimee Landry, 28, of the Yarmouth County area have been charged with production of cannabis marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis marijuana. The four people are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 4 for plea.
