The reconfiguration of Maple Grove and Yarmouth Junior High

The Tri-County Regional School Board approved a motion at a special board meeting on April 20 to change the grade configuration of Maple Grove Education Centre and Yarmouth Junior High.

The board's motion stated that starting in September Maple Grove would be a Grade 7-8 school, housing students from both schools and Yarmouth Junior High would be a Grade 9 school, also housing students from both schools.

When a new high school is built in Yarmouth, all Grade 9 students will be moved there.
