Rod Stewart to headline Confederation Hill Music Fest

Commenting indirectly on public discussion about how Rod Stewart performing in St. John's on the same date could impact the Salmon Fest, Coun. Darren Finn, chairman of the 2015 Salmon Festival said: “There was no doubt that we would have a Salmon Festival, it is our tradition. It is encouraging that the media and people near and far are expressing such a keen interest in this year’s show."

He said those who have attended Fogerty's concerts in the past have given rave reviews calling it one of the best shows they have ever attended.

"There are thousands of people who have not had the opportunity to see this show and we have had a multitude of requests. We invite the whole province to come and enjoy this concert, outdoors on the big stage with a huge sound and light production. You will not be disappointed."

Information on ticket sales will be announced when arrangements have been made. Other acts will also be announced later.
