The Yarmouth Kings pushed Barrington to the limits but couldn't finish it off as the Barrington Ice Dogs handed them a 5-3 loss in Barrington on Feb. 21 to win their best-of-five series 3-2. Jamie Thomas, James Swaine, Logan Quinlan, Josh Alyward and Brent Symonds scored for the Ice Dogs. Steve Saulnier, Dylan Saulnier and Shawn Wile scored for the Kings who led 3-1 after the first period. Colin Huskins got the win in goal and Mike Smith took the loss as the Ice Dogs outshot Yarmouth 43-23.

Yarmouth had pushed the series to a fifth deciding game with a win at the Mariners Centre on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The Yarmouth Kings got a pair of goals each from Matt Shay and Andrew Hatfield and handed the Barrington Ice Dogs a 4-2 loss at the Mariners Centre on Saturday.

James Swaine and Brent Symonds scored for the Ice Dogs. Colin Huskins took the loss in goal and Mike Smith got the win as the Kings outshot the Dogs 38-27.
