The Yarmouth Bantam AA Subway Mariners had two wins over the Dec. 8-9 weekend.
On Saturday, Dec. 8, Yarmouth defeated Acadia 4-2 in Canning. Scoring were Cameron Atwood with one goal and one assist, and Matt Hines, Brett Mercier and Carman Shaw with a goal each. Adding assists were Brad Jones, Cole Jacquard, Cory Newell and Jared Barkhouse. In net was Cameron d'Entremont.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, Yarmouth defeated Acadia 7-3 at the Mariners Centre. Matt Hines lead the scoring with a hattrick. Brandon Sullivan had a pair of goals. Also scoring were Brett Mercier and Dominic Surette. Adding assists were Brad Jones with three, Carman Shaw with two and Cole Jacquard, Derek d'Eon and Cory Newell. In net was Taran Atwood.
This weekend the Mariners host Western Valley at 5 p.m. on Saturday and travel to Windsor on Sunday to play West Hants.
