Atom A Mariners win silver medal at 8-team tournament

The Yarmouth Atom A Scotia Garden Mariners brought home the silver medal from the Aaron Johnson Invitational Tournament held in Middleton Jan 18-20. Eight teams competed in the tournament, with the Truro Bearcats winning the gold medal with a 6-3 win over Yarmouth in the championship game.

The Scotia Garden Mariners are at home this weekend, hosting Truro for a pair of exhibition games. Game times are 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27.
