The Barrington Sea Star Ice Dogs took out the Clare Lions 6-4 in game one of quarter final action in the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League in Barrington on Feb.10.

The perky Lions clawed their way back in the game twice in the 3rd period as the short staffed Dogs looked to tire. Tyler Quinlan and Matt Goodwin each scored twice with single goals coming from Brydon Ryerson and Doran Arey. Chad Harris turned aside 33 shots in goal.

With the series start delayed two days due to weather game two is now slated to go Thursday night (Feb. 14) in Barrington at 7:30 p.m. The series will wrap up this weekend, with games three and four (if necessary) in Clare on Friday night at 8 p.m. and Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.  The Ice Dogs will host game five if necessary on (Feb. 17), time to be announced.
