Canada West is headed to the gold medal game of the World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth after defeating Canada East in the semi-finals on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth.
The lone goal of the game was scored by #8 Seb Lloyd of Prince George, B.C. (25 James De Haas, 21 Wade Murphy) at 3.24 in the second period.

Canada West ended the game with 24 shots on net, while Canada East had 17 shots on net.
Both goalies, 31 Jonah Imoo for Canada West and Charlie Finn for Canada East were named players of the game.
