Farmers, interested newcomers and the general public are invited to Agriculture Day on Saturday, March 3, at the Rodd Grand Hotel.
The event, an initiative of five municipalities in the region, takes place 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and will feature a trade show and panel sessions with representatives from various industries.
Topics include navigating government programs, the South West Nova Scotia Climate Data Study, site assessment, pasture-based livestock, business planning, direct marketing, site preparation, fruit and vegetables, and farm marketing 101.
