The open house is aimed at giving the public an opportunity to find out what the town’s economic development and planning and development departments are working on. It also gives these departments a chance to hear from the public.
Also with the 2015/16 provincial programs funding having just recently been announced, Nova Scotia Business Inc.’s (NSBI) Calvin Butler has been invited to inform the public and businesses about available opportunities for this coming year. CEO, Angelique LeBlanc, of the Western Regional Enterprise Network will also be in attendance, as will Matthew Trask, the new executive director of the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce.
People will also be invited to provide input on what they’d like to see offered during future open house sessions.
