New exhibit opening at Dayton gallery

A View from Here,an exhibition of new paintings and art prints will be on display at the Sign of the Whale Gallery in Dayton from July 6 to 21.

Artists include Angelina Comeau, Anna Syperek, Bill Crowell, Bob Hainstock, Brian Porter, Cecil Day, Dan Earle, Denise Comeau, Diane Rosati, Isao Morrill, Lio Lo,

Maggie Schmidt-Mandell, Maurice LeBlanc,  Michael Morris, Pierre Ferron, Robert Rutherford, Roy Mandell, Susan Paterson, Twila Robar-DeCoste, V.L. MacLean and Virginia Stoddard.

Each artist has been invited to interpret the exhibition title as he/she sees fit and, says gallery owner Michael Morris, people will be amazed and amused by the variety of interpretations. 

The opening reception is Friday, July 6, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, 12 noon – 5 p.m. The exhibition will be on line from July 7.
