The Municipality of Argyle invites residents to attend a second public session in which Wild Salt Architecture will present their design for the Municipality of Argyle’s new administration building. The public session will take place Thursday, Oct. 26 in the cafeteria at École secondaire de Par-en-Bas and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to presenting the design, the architects will explain how staff, the public and local research has influenced the creation of architecture and they will be seeking feedback from the community.
Warden Richard Donaldson highlights the excitement of this milestone and the importance for the public to participate in these sessions:
“Since the beginning of August, we’ve been working with Wild Salt Architecture to design our new building. Working with them has been a pleasure and we are excited to be able to share with the public the design they have developed," he says. "This is, however, still a work in progress so we encourage everyone to attend this session as public input is very important to us as we want to ensure that it represents Argyle as closely as possible.”
The Municipality of Argyle anticipates the tender for the new administration building to be awarded in early 2018, with construction beginning in the Spring. The Municipality invites any comments or suggestions and for more information on the progress of the project, visit www.munargyle.com/newbuilding.
