ABRAM'S RIVER, MUNICIPALITY OF ARGYLE - Construction of a replacement for the Abrams River bridge on Highway #3 began on July 25 and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
The bridge will have a 15-metre span with two lanes and the design is a precast concrete girder.
The cost is approximately $2.1 million and includes removal of existing structure, bridge replacement and repaving. A detour route is in place and has been signed accordingly.
