The RCMP say a woman became agitated while at the bank. Staff locked her out of the building until police arrived.
According to a media release, the RCMP members in attendance spoke to the woman and served her notice under the Protection of Property Act, which makes it an offence for her to return to the property for one year.
Yarmouth Rural Detachment commander Staff Sergeant Ben Parry says the notice under the Protection of Property Act applies to all other RBC branches as well.
He said no criminal charges are being laid.
The RCMP say no one was hurt during the incident.
