YARMOUTH - No need to speed, you can idle through the Roaring 20's Antique Auto Club's Classic Car Show next year.
Adding another day to the event will give visitors more time to see it all, says club spokesperson Brent Bullerwell.
He and two other members - Paul Robicheau and Denton Ford – told Yarmouth town council of their plans at the Nov. 16 council meeting.
The show is typically held in connection with Yarmouth Seafest, with a classic car parade winding through town the evening before.
Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic along Main Street (from Forest to Grand streets) and some side streets also will be closed.
In 2018, cars will be displayed on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14. The show will tear down, allowing usage of the street that night, and setup will happen again Sunday morning, with the show open until 3 p.m.
