Ocean Explorations owner and biologist Tom Goodwin saw the whale Tuesday afternoon (July 14) and monitored it about one mile off Brier Island's Northern Lighthouse.
The Campobello Whale Rescue Team came within inches of success trying to free the juvenile whale last week but had to call the mission off after trying for six hours as darkness approached.
