LeBLANC, Edward Charles, 83, Hebron passed away November 22, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hubbard's Point, he was the son of the late Andre and Martha (Hubbard) LeBlanc. Edward was a scallop fisherman his whole working career, in his retirement he enjoyed spending time at home and going to bingo with Frances, which he loved. He is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Frances Saulnier, Pinkneys Point; daughters Ida (Edward) LeBlanc, Tusket; Vera Dugas, Yarmouth; step daughters Joan (Ken) Bain; Donna (Terry) Lancaster; Doris Mersey; step sons Clifford (Linda) Gavel; Bobby (Debbie) Gavel; Jimmy (Darlene) Gavel; sister May Hubbard; grandchildren Jamie, Lisa, Corey, Joey; great grandchildren Nick, Jenna, Zachery, Hallie, Gary; numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Lorraine; second wife Nettie (Gavel); brothers Freddy and Nelson; son-in-law Burton Dugas. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium. A graveside service was held Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00am from the Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery, Deacon Stephen Bourque officiated. Memorial donations may be made to the Tri County VON or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
