In Memory of Madeline Louise Locke May 11, 1930 – December 11, 2017 LOCKE, Madeline Louise - passed away peacefully with her daughter, Michelle Locke, by her side at Hospice Renfrew in Renfrew, Ontario, December 11th, 2017 in her 87th year. Madeline Locke (nee Atkinson), formerly of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, beloved wife of the late Alden Churchill Locke was predeceased by her grandson, Stephen Charest, and great granddaughter, Teagan Bullen. Madeline is survived by her seven children Paul Locke (Donna), Gloria Charest (Gilles), Kevin Locke (Wendy), Carolyn Stobbe (Victor), Eric Locke (Kathy), Cheryl Wellman, and Michelle Locke (Robert). She was the cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. As per Madeline’s wishes, she was cremated and her ashes are being brought home to Nova Scotia to be buried in the family plot at Ocean View Cemetery in Jordan Bay. Family and friends are invited to share in her internment on Saturday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. A light lunch and celebration of her life will immediately follow at the Sandy Point Lighthouse Community Centre. “If we had a single flower for every time we think about you, we could walk forever in our garden.”
