Roger Nickerson — Yarmouth

NICKERSON, Roger Adelious – age 83, Grantham St., Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 18, 1935 in Clam Point, Shelburne Co., he was a son of the late Leslie and Alfreda Nickerson. Roger worked as a fisherman all of his life and loved spending time riding around on his scooter. He is survived by sisters, Dottie (Kenneth) Hanf and June (late Mannie Jarvis), as well as by a brother, Asa (Christine) Nickerson and many nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Lyman and Kevin; sisters, Nora and Sandy. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Friday, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 21, both at H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Rev. Don Moses officiated. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
