Sandra Reynolds

It is with great sadness that the family announces Sandra Laurie Leigh Reynolds (Gormley) of East River, passed away on June 22, 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, NS. She was born on June 8, 1955 in Shelburne, NS to the late Freeland and Sylvia (Atwood) Reynolds. She was a kind, generous person who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She enjoyed movies, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Sandra especially cherished the time she spent with her granddaughters. Sandra is survived by her spouse Hugo, East River, NS; her daughter Sylvia (Tesfaye), Edmonton, AB; her son Benjamin (Sarah), Shelburne, NS; her brother John (Marie), Bridgewater, NS; her brother Freeland, Port La Tour, NS; her grandchildren Ella and Mary, Shelburne, NS; nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Henry Banks. As per Sandra’s wishes she was cremated and no service will be held. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
