YARMOUTH – The following are results from various games played by Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers teams.

U14 boys pick up three  wins

The Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers under 14 boys soccer team picked up three wins during home and away action.

In the first of two games played June 21 against Chester at the Janet Smith Memorial Soccer Field in Hebron, Yarmouth shut out Chester 6-0. Scoring for Yarmouth were Alex Wells and Ben Clarke with two goals each, along with Maxime Bertrand and Ethan Doucette. In net was Morgan Chenel.

In thee second game Yarmouth defeated Chester 5-0. Alex Wells and Maxime Bertrand each had a pair of goals. Also scoring was Ben Clarke. In net was Morgan Chenel.

On June 22 the Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers under 14 boys soccer team travelled to Hebbville to play HB Thunder. In very wet conditions, Yarmouth came away with the 5-4 victory. Ethan Doucette scored two goals. Also scoring were Ben Clarke and Alex Wells. Jared Minard had the game winner with about two minutes left in the game. In net was  Morgan Chenel.

At the conclusion of these three games U14 team had a 4-0 record in league play. The team’s next game is Monday, July 6 in Chester against Chester United.

 

U14 girls win pair of home games

The Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers under 14 girls soccer team defeated HB Studios in a pair of home games on June 21.

In the first game Yarmouth won with a score of 3-0. Scoring for Yarmouth were Saige Breton, Grace Hobbs and Brindais Baldurrsdottir.

In the second game Yarmouth had a 7-1 victory. Grace Hobbs led the scoring with six goals. Also scoring was Saige Breton.

Samantha Nelson was in net for both games.

 

U-16 boys defeat Mahone Bay

On Saturday, June 27 the Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers under-16 boys team defeated Mahone Bay 8-2.

Yarmouth's  goals were scored by Jacob Symonds (3), Tommy Willis (2), Sam Killam (2) and Teran Newell.

 

 U-12 boys split games with HB Thunder

On Sunday, June 28, the Yarmouth Pet Valu Clippers under-12 boys team played two games against HB Thunder.

In game one, Yarmouth lost 8-1. Scoring for Yarmouth was Ben LeBlanc.

In game two, the Clippers defeated the Thunder team 2-1. Scoring for Yarmouth were Ben LeBlanc and Hunter Muise
