Yarmouth PetValu Clippers U-16 boys win silver at soccer tournament  


YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth PetValu Clippers U-16 boys soccer team won silver at the recent Amanda Forester Tournament in Greenwood.

In their first game, the CLippers lost to Bridgetown 2-1. Scoring for Yarmouth was Willis. Brock Emin was in net. Dan Smith was game MVP.

In their second game, the Yarmouth Pet Value Clippers U16 boys lost 6-1 versus Upper County. Scoring for Yarmouth was Tommy Willis. Nick Smith was in net and was named game MVP.

In their third game, Yarmouth shut out Kingston 5-0 Scoring for the Clippers were Tommy Willis with three goals, along with Jacob Symonds and Alex Surette. Brock Emin was in net. Alex Comeau was named game MVP.

In the semi-final game, the Clippers defeated Bridgetown 4-3. Scoring for the Clippers were Tommy Willis and Ethan Cunningham, each with a pair of goals. Brock Emin in net.  Ethan Cunningham was named game MVP.

In the gold medal game the Yarmouth Pet Value Clippers U16 boys lost to Upper County 6-2. Goal scorers for Yarmouth were Tommy Willis and Brogan O’Brien. Brock Emin in net. Tommy Willis was named game MVP.
