Scoring for Yarmouth in the championship game were Matt Harris and Dylan Landry. In net was Morgan Chenel, who was the keeper for all of Yarmouth’s games at provincials. There were two 10-minute overtime halves in the title game before a shootout was needed to determine the winner.
The game MVP for Yarmouth was Maxime Bertrand. Tournament MVP was Jared Minard.
The provincials were held in Stellarton. In Yarmouth’s first game of the round robin the Clippers defeated a strong Fundy United team from Amherst 3-2. Scoring for Yarmouth were Alex Wells and Ethan Doucette.
Yarmouth struggled in their second game against Bedford and the team was down 1-0 with less than five minutes remaining in the game when a corner kick by Ethan Doucette tied the game. The game ended in a tie as there was no overtime in the round robin.
In their third round robin game, a 6-1 victory over Halifax advanced the Clippers to the championship final. Scoring for Yarmouth in the third round robin game were Dylan Landry with four goals, Jared Minard and Alex Wells.
Eight U14 teams competed at provincials.
