Business and community leaders from across the province gathering in Yarmouth to celebrate and showcase innovation

YARMOUTH, N.S. – Business and community leaders from across the province will gather in Yarmouth on Tuesday Oct. 23, to celebrate and showcase innovation in Nova Scotia at Innovation Fête.

Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Zach Churchill will speak on behalf of Business Minister Geoff MacLellan. Other confirmed speakers include Pam Mood, Mayor of Yarmouth; Kenneth Deveau, vice-president of Universite Sainte-Anne and chair of Invest Nova Scotia; Doug Jones, executive director of Ignite Labs, Yarmouth; Scott Dauphinee, managing director of the Lobster Trap Company, Yarmouth; Taylor Widrig, owner of Mermaid Fare, Halifax; and Henry Pedro, co-owner of Boxing Rock Brewing Company, Shelburne.

Participants will share stories, connect and collaborate, building stronger entrepreneurial networks across the province and enhancing our capacity for innovation.

The event will be held at Nova Scotia Community College, Burridge Campus, 372 Pleasant St., from 3 to 6 p.m.
