YARMOUTH, N.S. — Renovations are underway to make the Yarmouth NSLC a signature store.

Communications advisor Beverley Ware says these stores offer customers a full assortment of beverage alcohol products from all categories.

“They also have a port section featuring premium wine and spirit tasting units, as well as ‘limited finds’ and a ‘cool zone,’ which is the walk-in refrigerated area,” she said.

In addition, signature stores have a specially trained product specialist to assist customers in exploring the product assortment.

The first NSLC signature store was Portland Street in Dartmouth, which was completed last summer.

Sydney River, Bridgewater and the Joseph Howe Drive store in Halifax are currently being renovated and Yarmouth and Amherst were the most recent stores to be selected.

The tender has been awarded and the work will be done by Avondale Construction. It’s anticipated the renovations will start in April and be complete by early summer.

The NSLC is always looking for opportunities across the province to improve the service offering for customers, says Ware.
