YARMOUTH, N.S. —
Country music legend Tanya Tucker performed at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth on May 10.
She performed old material and new songs and she entertained the audience with her music, her humour and her stories.
She came sporting pink hair in honour of a close friend who is battling breast cancer and in honour of all of those who are battling cancer. The audience was also treated to the performance of a couple of songs by her backup singers, Spencer Bartoletti and Tucker's daughter Presley Tucker, who make up the band Reverie Lane.
Tucker will be on another big stage soon, as she revealed she'll be performing at the CMT Music Awards on June 5 in Nashville.
Meanwhile, back in Yarmouth she saved the best for last during her concert, closing with her iconic hit Delta Dawn.
