'Sweet but Psycho' songwriter, producer has ties to Cumberland County

No limits if you work hard and dream big

Sweet but Psycho is a song by American singer Ava Max, released as a single late last year.
It subsequently reached number one on the charts in 22 countries including Germany and the United Kingdom and climbed high in both the U.S. and Canadian charts; and now approaching half a billion views on YouTube.
The co-writer and producer of the song, Henry “Cirkut” Walter has family connections in this area, including his dad, and he recently paid a short visit to also catch up with friends Susan Myles and Tony Robichaud of Susan Myles and Dr. Tone fame.
Susan described how she and Tony continue to enjoy performing locally as an acoustic duo. She has also been very fortunate to record new material with songwriter/producer Marvin Birt, founding member of iconic Canadian band, Haywire.
To build further on that opportunity, having a long lunch with “Cirkut”, who had accomplished so much, was a reminder to her that there are no limits if you work hard and dream big.
What really struck her about Henry was his willingness to offer game-changing advice while being genuinely excited about what she was aiming to accomplish.
She confided that after their meeting, she returned to her studio, but this time she sensed a new level of excitement and personal confidence that she could hear in her voice.
While Susan was practising, Henry was on his way back to Los Angeles to put the finishing touches on Ava’s debut album, which is scheduled for release early in the new year.
