YARMOUTH, N.S. — On Friday, June 28, the Town of Yarmouth will finalize the major infrastructure repair on Starrs Road that was undertaken on June 10.

The paving contractor has confirmed the date and time for paving the area that was recently excavated to repair a serious drainage issue.

Paving of the area will begin Friday morning at approximately 5:30 am with estimated completion by 9:30 am.

A street closure and access will work in the same format as the recent closure on June 10th. The street will be closed from Pleasant Street to Charles Crosby Drive. Businesses will be accessible but there will be no through traffic permitted between Pleasant Street and Charles Crosby Drive while the work is underway.

Travelers are asked to be prepared to use an alternate route (Herbert Street) while this work is being completed.
