YARMOUTH, N.S. — Th’YARC’s annual Fall Farce featuring talented local actors, has the stage Oct. 17-19 and Oct. 24-26.
Directed by Judy Snow, the play highlights the comedic antics of Raymond Tabb, Shari Surette, Tim Schrader and Tanya Wallace.
What is the play about? The storyline is: Stephen’s a womanizer and married to the ever-faithful Susan. Thomas is recently divorced and is Stephen’s hapless and harried longtime best friend. Stephen’s business is finally taking off and he has a young, tantalizing girlfriend named Debbie, and life is great but for one thing – being married to the annoyingly faithful Susan. A real thorn in his side. He wants to get rid of her, but how?
He hatches an idea to solve all his problems – he only needs to persuade Thomas to seduce his wife, on video, as grounds for divorce.
What happens? You'll have to go to the farce to find out.
Tickets are $17 each and $16 for YARC members; plus service fees. Visit Th'YARC's box office on Parade Street or call 902-742-8150.
